On January 30, 2018, the provincial Privacy Commissioner issued two reports on access to information requests made to the Town of Paradise (Reports A-2018-004 and A-2018-005). acan demoThe Town has approved an application for demolition of the property at 1641 Topsail Rd, the ACAN building. Demolition is expected to begin in February, and will make way for redevelopment of the site. Fencing has been placed around the area to control loose debris and prevent public access during demolition.

The Town of Paradise advises residents of Evergreen Village of an emergency water shut-off for Wednesday, January 17, 2018 due to required water main repairs in the area.
