Closures

Please note the following closures and cancellations for the Town of Paradise:

Closures:

Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 3:00 p.m.: Town recreational facilities will open for regular programming at 5:30 p.m. this evening, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. 

Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 11 a.m.: Due to the weather, all Town facilities, including the Town Hall (1655 Topsail Road) and the Paradise Double Ice Complex, are closed for the afternoon today, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. An update for Recreation facilities for this evening will be provided by 4 p.m. today. 

Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 7 a.m.: Due to the weather, all Town facilities, including the Town Hall (1655 Topsail Road) and the Paradise Double Ice Complex, are closed for the morning today, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. A further update will be provided by 11 a.m.

Paradise Park Small Parking Lot Access: The Town of Paradise advises that construction of the temporary beach volleyball courts at Paradise Park is scheduled to begin on May 20, 2025, and will take approximately eight weeks to complete. Work will occur Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

For the safety of all users, the small parking lot and main gate at Paradise Park will be closed until further notice. While construction is underway, the park and accessible playground will remain open. Visitors are asked to park at the Paradise Double Ice Complex and use the north entrance to access the park. 

Cancellations:

Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Wednesday, December 3, the garbage and recycling schedule is changed as follows:

• Garbage for Area 2A&B and Recycling for Area 2A scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, have been moved to Thursday, December 4.
• Garbage for Area 3A&B and Recycling for Area 3A scheduled for Thursday, December 4, have been moved to Friday, December 5.
• Garbage for Area 4A&B and Recycling for Area 4A scheduled for Friday, December 5, have been moved to Monday, December 8.
