Family Fun Day in Paradise Park

Family Fun Day on Sunday, August 20 offers something for everyone! This year the fun includes special performances, free bouncy castle rides, games, face painting, food concessions, and games of chance. This will be a ticketed event held from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at Paradise Park (Sarah Davis Way). The admission cost is $ 5 for adults, free for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the event gate (cash only).

The Paper Bag Princess: TaDa! Kids* presents The Paper Bag Princess and Other Stories by Robert Munsch. With imagination and audience participation, this interactive play brings favorite stories of Robert Munsch (Angela's Airplane, Mortimer, 50 Below, Millicent and the Wind, Murmel Murmel Murmel, The Paperbag Princess) to life on the stage! 

Directed by Sharon King-Campbell and featuring Kristen Murphy, Adrian Doucet, Dave Bartlett and Tanya Lasby. Based on stories written by Robert Munsch © Bob Munsch Enterprises Ltd., all published by Annick Press; stage adaptation © Irene N. Watts. 


Twisted Fairytales: What do you get when you take some of your favorite tales, twist them all together and put them on the stage? You get a fun-filled, often silly, and hilarious show that delights kids and adults alike. TaDa! Kids* entertains while sending an important message about the joys to be found inside a book. Directed by Terri Andrews the show features Sharon King-Campbell, Kristen Murphy and members of the audience. *TaDa! Kids is a division of TaDa! Events


Closing Entertainment and Fireworks

The closing event for 2017 SunSplash Paddle in Paradise is a free night of country music from
Craig Young followed by the Wonderbolt Fire Circus. Don't miss out on a fun night of food, fun,
and fireworks as SunSplash-Paddle in Paradise 2017 comes to an end.
