It's time to Find You're Fit!

Recreation NL`s Find Your Fit! Community Physical Activity Challenge is a province-wide physical activity challenge taking place throughout April that aims to get communities motivated and moving towards healthy, active living.

ParticipACTION's 150 Play List is the ultimate list of 150 physical that celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. Inspired by the 150 Play list, the Town has put together four weeks of activities that will help residents find their fit! From Monday, April 10 to Saturday, April 29 follow along with the schedule below for a combination of home exercises, Town skating, and other organized recreational activities that will get you moving!

You can also create your own activity list using Recreation NL`s Physical Activity Guidelines for all ages, or browse their other pages for fun resources and tips. 

Week Four Activity Suggestions

Monday, April 24
PROGRAMS:
  • PARENT & TOT PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAM
  • ADULT WALKING: 12:30-1:30 p.m.
  • YOUTH OPEN GYM ACTIVITY PROGRAM (AGES 7-18): 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, April 25

CHALLENGES:

  • 10 BURPEES
  • 20 CRUNCHES
  • 20 SQUATS

    REPEAT TWICE!

 PROGRAMS:

  • YOUTH OPEN GYM ACTIVITY PROGRAM (AGES 7-18): 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 26

CHALLENGES:

  • 10 PUSH UPS
  • 20 JUMPING JACKS
  • 10 INCHWORM

PROGRAMS:

  • PARENT & TOT PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAM
  • ADULT WALKING: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Sunday, April 30

CHALLENGES:

  • 30 MINUTE WALK OR 20 MINUTE JOG
