Notice of Variance Application – 4 Stanhope Drive |
The Town of Paradise has received an application to construct an accessory building with a floor area of 6 m2 at 4 Stanhope Drive. The proposed structure would create a total floor area of all accessory buildings on the property of 77 m2. The subject property is located within the Residential Medium Density Use zone in which the maximum floor area is 70 m2 (based on lot size), and a maximum height of 4.0 metres. In order to permit the proposed 6 m2 floor area, an 8% variance approval to the maximum floor area is required. The Urban and Rural Planning Act permits Council to consider a variance to the Regulations up to a maximum of 10%. This Notice is advertised in accordance with Section 3.8 of the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016.
