The Town of Paradise works hard to keep streets clear and safe from snow and ice. There are 291 streets within the Town, which is about 300 lane kilometres of snowclearing / ice control.

The snow clearing operations in Paradise are divided into seven routes. Road crews work as fast as they safely can under a variety of weather conditions to clear these routes. The goal, under normal weather events, is to complete each route within a six to eight hour period after the time the storm has ended.

Snow clearing in the Town is done on a priority basis. Learn more about Snow Clearing Road Priority and routes. Town winter maintenance workers will prioritize the assistance of emergency vehicles when required to ensure safe and reliable access.
