Counsellor in Training Program

| Print This Page |

The Town of Paradise Counsellor in Training (CIT) Program is a great way for youth entering grades 10, 11 and 12 to gain some valuable volunteer and work experience in a fun and energetic environment.

The CIT Program runs from July 2 to August 24 alongside the Town’s three summer day camps. Those interested in applying to the CIT program are asked to register online through email or the Town's Recreation Portal. Registrants are also asked to identify their preferred two weeks for involvement, and the camp(s) where they would like to volunteer.

Camp Information

The Town’s Summer Day Camp Program includes Camp Caboodle (RPYCC and Paradise Elementary locations), Camp Wahoo (RPYCC and Paradise Elementary locations) and Camp Excursion (RPYCC and Paradise Elementary locations). Each of these camps run for eight weeks throughout the summer, and take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. More information, including camp age groups and weeks of camp, can be found on our Summer Day Camps page.
