PSA: Tower Crane Installation at Lift Station 10

The Town of Paradise advises that the work to construct a Tower Crane at the Lift Station 10 site will begin on Tuesday, May 16. This machinery is required to move materials and equipment on-site and is expected to remain in place until the end of 2023.

The Tower Crane is electric, and its operations will be silent and emission free. While the swing radius of the crane will encroach on neighbouring properties, lifted objects will not be swung over adjacent properties. The Tower Crane jib will swing during wind events. This is a safety feature of the crane and not a cause for concern. All required operational and safety protocols will be implemented for the Tower Crane operations.
