Town Facilities Closed for Morning - December 3, 2025

Due to the weather, all Town facilities, including the Town Hall (1655 Topsail Road) and the Paradise Double Ice Complex, are closed for the morning today, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. A further update will be provided by 11 a.m.

The Town garbage and recycling collection are cancelled for today (December 3), and the revised schedule is as follows:

Delayed Opening Recreational Facilities - Wednesday, December 3, 2025

Due to the forecast, all Town recreational facilities, including the Paradise Double Ice Complex, the Fitness Centre, and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre, will have a delayed opening on, Wednesday, December 3, 2025. A further update will be provided by 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

PSA: Temporary Parking Closure at Octagon Pond - October 27, 2025

The Town of Paradise advises that due to the ongoing construction by Octagon Pond, next to 1655 Topsail Road, the designated public parking area is temporarily closed as of October 27, 2025 until further notice. The Octagon Pond Trail remains open, and trail users can park at the Paradise Double Ice Complex to access the trail or the gravel area in the vicinity of 1717 Topsail Road (future site of the Boat House) to access the trail. PSA: Road Assessments – Jane Heights, Ridgewood Drive, and Picco Drive

October 24, 2025 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises that crews will be completing site assessment work on Jane Heights, Ridgewood Drive, and Picco Drive on October 27 and 28, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The work involves drilling along the sides of the roads to assess road conditions. During this time, intermittent traffic slowdowns can be expected.
