PSA: Temporary Parking Closure at Octagon Pond - October 27, 2025

The Town of Paradise advises that due to the ongoing construction by Octagon Pond, next to 1655 Topsail Road, the designated public parking area is temporarily closed as of October 27, 2025 until further notice. The Octagon Pond Trail remains open, and trail users can park at the Paradise Double Ice Complex to access the trail or the gravel area in the vicinity of 1717 Topsail Road (future site of the Boat House) to access the trail. PSA: Road Assessments – Jane Heights, Ridgewood Drive, and Picco Drive

October 24, 2025 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises that crews will be completing site assessment work on Jane Heights, Ridgewood Drive, and Picco Drive on October 27 and 28, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The work involves drilling along the sides of the roads to assess road conditions. During this time, intermittent traffic slowdowns can be expected.

Let’s tap into water conservation! 

Due to an extended period of low precipitation, the Town of Paradise is joining neighbouring municipalities in asking residents to voluntarily reduce water usage. Here are some ways you can help conserve our water supply.

• Take shorter showers
• Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, shaving, or washing your face
• Run dishwashers and washing machines only when full
• Fix any leaking taps or toilets

We can all do our part to help conserve water. Every drop counts.

PSA: Water Shut-Off – Jane Heights - October 8, 2025

October 7, 2025 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises of a water shut-off on Jane Heights for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, to complete a water main repair. Work is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. During this time, Jane Heights will be closed to all traffic except for local traffic to allow crews to safely complete the repair.
