The Town of Paradise advises that construction to convert Rosewell Place and Summit Drive intersection to a three-way stop is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Work is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting, with crews on site from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The right turning lane from Summit Drive onto Rosewell place will be temporarily closed. The Town of Paradise advises that the 2025 Street Rehabilitation program begins the week of July 7. For 2025, asphalt grind and patch work on select areas of the following streets: Trails End Drive, Milton Road, McNamara Drive, Paradise Road, St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road. The Town of Paradise advises that intersection improvements for the Glendarek Drive – Lanark Drive intersection are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 7. The work involves installing a raised intersection, raised concrete crosswalk, concrete curb extension, storm sewer modifications, and adjustments to the Adams Pond trail head. The Town of Paradise advises that due to emergency repairs in Evergreen Village, an unplanned, temporary water-shut off is in place as of 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday, July 3, 2025. Repairs are expected to be completed today and the water restored at the end of the day.
Residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes when water is restored in case of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
