The crossing guards are ready, traffic calming is in place, and increased traffic patrols are scheduled! Paradise is set for the start of the 2025–26 school year. As students and teachers head back to class, we all have a role to play in school zone safety. Please drive with extra care to keep everyone safe.

August 29, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises that culvert repair work will begin on Tuesday, September 2, in the westbound lane of Carlingford Street. The work is expected to take three to four weeks to complete and will repair the section of roadway that is currently closed due to a sinkhole. We ask everyone in the area to continue to use caution in the area and follow all posted signage and traffic control measures. August 26, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises that construction of a new pedestrian trail connecting Silver Birch Crescent to Paradise Elementary will begin on August 27, 2025, with completion expected in October 2025. Work will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The trail will remain open during construction; however, pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area and to follow all posted signage.

The Town of Paradise advises that the provincial government has lifted the Regional State of Emergency and as a result the Evacuation Preparedness Alert for the section of Paradise (the south side of Topsail Road from the Outer Ring Road exit to CBS boundary) has ended effective immediately, today, Saturday, August 16, 2025.
