September 29, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises that construction of a new pedestrian trail connecting Morgan Avenue to Howard Avenue in Paradise Ridge will begin on October 2, 2025. Work will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to be completed in 4 weeks. Pedestrians are asked to avoid the area and to follow all posted signage.
The Town apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks everyone for their cooperation during this project.

For the current Municipal Election, the Town of Paradise offered mail-in voting. Residents had to register to receive a mail-in voting kit, and all kits were issued prior to the Canada Post labour disruption. To date, 106 mail-in voting kits are not yet returned.
Given the current Canada Post labour disruption will likely impact the return of outstanding kits, the Town will email those impacted residents and outline the following options:

September 26, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises of a temporary lane closure on Topsail Road for the 2025 Polka Dot Trot on Sunday, September 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The right-hand eastbound lane on Topsail Road will be closed from Sargent Donald Lucas Drive to Tilting Place.
Please follow all traffic signage in the area. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience, and we hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun trot around Octagon Pond.

The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions on Topsail Road from civic number 1324 (Scotia Bank) to 1366 (Irving) today, September 26, 2025. Crews will be doing paving operations in the area from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Crews will work to maintain traffic flow, however, due to the nature of the work there are times when there will be traffic delays and interruptions in the work area. If possible, drivers are recommended to use alternate routes. Access to local businesses in the area...

The Town of Paradise is advising of a special public meeting of council on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to to review and approve the Town projects to be submitted for funding under the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund program.
