For the current Municipal Election, the Town of Paradise offered mail-in voting. Residents had to register to receive a mail-in voting kit, and all kits were issued prior to the Canada Post labour disruption. To date, 106 mail-in voting kits are not yet returned.
Given the current Canada Post labour disruption will likely impact the return of outstanding kits, the Town will email those impacted residents and outline the following options:

September 26, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises of a temporary lane closure on Topsail Road for the 2025 Polka Dot Trot on Sunday, September 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The right-hand eastbound lane on Topsail Road will be closed from Sargent Donald Lucas Drive to Tilting Place.
Please follow all traffic signage in the area. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience, and we hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun trot around Octagon Pond.

The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions on Topsail Road from civic number 1324 (Scotia Bank) to 1366 (Irving) today, September 26, 2025. Crews will be doing paving operations in the area from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Crews will work to maintain traffic flow, however, due to the nature of the work there are times when there will be traffic delays and interruptions in the work area. If possible, drivers are recommended to use alternate routes. Access to local businesses in the area...

The Town of Paradise is advising of a special public meeting of council on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to to review and approve the Town projects to be submitted for funding under the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund program.

The Town of Paradise advises that construction for Trenton Drive Park is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 22, 2025. This work is expected to take approximately twelve weeks to complete.
This open space park will have features such as asphalt walkways, accessible seating, picnic tables, an overhead enclosure and multi-sport courts.
