The Town of Paradise advises of potential traffic interruptions at the intersection of St. Thomas Line and Moonlight Drive for the week of May 16. At times, traffic in the area may be limited to one lane. The work is part of the water and sewer installation project for Moonlight Drive. The Town of Paradise advises that a new pedestrian trail is being constructed from Copper Canyon Close to St. Thomas Line to provide residents access between the roadways. The 70 m long trail will be the newest addition to the Town’s trail system. The project involves installing a granular walking surface, swing gates and armour stone at either end, and a retaining wall and fence constructed along the west boundary of the trail.

The Town of Paradise advises that the 2022 annual line painting and maintenance program is scheduled to start this weekend (April 23). The first part of the work involves placing markings along Topsail Road with full line painting in the area starting next weekend, weather permitting.
Over the coming months, the annual line painting work will include traffic lines, edge lines, crosswalks, stop bars, margins, and arrows on roads throughout Town. Drivers are asked to follow all posted signage...

A section of the Octagon Pond Trail will be closed on Monday, April 11 to facilitate repair work. The section of trail, on the eastern side of the pond (between the main parking area and cadet training area) will be closed for one day as a culvert is installed. Residents are asked to avoid the area and to follow all posted signage. The trail is expected to be open by the end of the day. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
