Recreation Master Plan

The Town of Paradise officially adopted the Paradise Open Space and Recreation Master Plan. The Town of Paradise worked with UPLAND Planning and Design Studio to develop the new plan.

Recreation includes participation in physical, social or creative pursuits that enhance personal and community well-being.

Open spaces include parks and trails which become a network of essential public spaces that provide a wide range of benefits.

In developing the new plan, public consultations were held to gather input from community groups, organizations and our residents. The consultants completed an inventory of Town recreation resources, reviewed bench-marks and best-practices across the country and completed a plan which gives recommendations for the next 10 years. It is a new, updated blueprint to guide the Town's recreation and community services work.
