Inclusion Services |
The Town strives to offer an inclusive program within the means and capabilities of trained staff and summer camp guidelines. Summer Day Camp does not offer personal care or other forms of physical assistance. Participants must be able to attend to all personal, bathroom, and hygiene matters independently. Respite workers hired independently by guardians to accompany participants are solely responsible for the personal and physical needs of the individual. Respite workers must provide the Town with a clear Code of Conduct with a Vulnerable Sector Check completed and will be permitted at the discretion of the Recreation Technician. Registration Process for Inclusion Services
3. The town will review all inclusion requests and will do its best to provide one on one inclusion services for your child that was requested. This means that we can take one child with inclusion needs per camp. (If the staff can support the required need) We want to ensure that anyone requesting inclusion services gets a fun camp experience. Please note you may not get the full number of weeks you request if there are multiple requests for inclusion services for one camp. This will be determined once all registration is complete. Town staff will be in contact to confirm if your requests can be met or not. |
