The Town of Paradise works hard to keep streets clear and safe from snow and ice. There are 296 streets within the Town, which is about 318 lane kilometres of snow clearing / ice control.
The snow clearing operations in Paradise are divided into seven routes. Road crews work as fast as they safely can under a variety of weather conditions to clear these routes. The Town makes every effort to make one snow clearing cut on all streets within 12 hours of the end of snowfall.
Snow clearing in the Town is done on a priority basis. Crews prioritize the assistance of emergency vehicles when required to ensure safe and reliable access.

The Town of Paradise advises that Town Hall in-person services including tax payments, permit payments and pick-ups, application drop-offs, and other matters will not be available on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 as staff are relocating to new office space. The main phone line 709.782.1400 and general email info@paradise.ca will be monitored, and staff are responding to all inquiries. Please note it may take longer than usual to respond, but staff will get to all messages.
Effective Monday, May 12, Town Hall services will be available from 1655 Topsail Road. It is expected that the remediation and repair work following the fire at the Depot will take approximately a year to complete. Town Hall services will be available from the temporary location while the restoration work is underway.
There is no impact to the services, programs and operations at the Paradise Double Ice Complex and all recreation programming is proceeding as scheduled.
