Project Manager (Full-time, Temporary) - Competition No. TOP-300-005 |
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Services, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management from start to finish from owner’s perspective including procurement, contract management, project planning, project tracking, project reporting, and closeout. The incumbent will research and apply/create proposals for project funding and maintain records and interact with funding authorities. As well as manage capital works construction projects for the development or upgrade of municipal infrastructure and other municipal projects not related to infrastructure. The Project Manager will also provide project management support to senior management and other Municipal departments; and prepare appropriately scaled project management plans, forms, and reports in accordance with the Project Management Body of Knowledge. Asset Management Coordinator (Full-time, Permanent) - Competition No. TOP-300-002 |
Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Services, the Asset Management Coordinator will oversee the Town’s Asset Management Program, including maintenance of the Town’s Asset Management Plan and Policy. The incumbent will maintain the Town’s Capital Asset Inventory, including developing data collection, asset maintenance, and condition assessment programs, and develop and maintain the Town’s Asset GIS model under guidance of the GIS Specialist. The Asset Management Coordinator will use the Town’s Asset Model and Inventory, the Town uses PSD Citywide software to manage its assets, to provide input to Management regarding long term strategic capital planning. Accounting Clerk (Full-time, Permanent) - Competition No. TOP-200-005 |
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, this position is accountable for the provision of data control and clerical accounting support within the Corporate Services Department. Duties of this position include: maintaining accurate records by reconciling all accounts and posting transactions to the financial system in a timely manner; compiling financial information for internal reports, annual external audits, and various claims; providing cashier and accounts receivable services by accepting payments and issuing accurate receipts for these payments; providing accounts payable services by processing supplier invoices/credits, payment requisitions, travel claims and refunds; performing primary duties relating to the maintenance of the assessment roll by following established practices, procedures and specific instructions; and processing payroll and benefits in compliance with the current collective agreement. Records Management Clerk (Full-time, Temporary) - Competition No. TOP-200-006 |
Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing & Risk Management, the Records Management Clerk will be responsible for the maintenance of the Town’s records management system. In addition, this position provides support in the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy program for the Town. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining a folder directory system including the development and maintenance of workflows and other automated processes within an Electronic Records Management System (ERMS); communicating and coordinating needs with departments related to scanning, file storage and retention of documents, troubleshooting system issues and training staff on system use. As well as preparing files and forwarding documents for disposition in accordance with the Town’s Records Retention Policy. Qualifications
