The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in mid November 2023, through various media outlets. The number of Temporary Firefighters to be hired will be determined prior to the interview process. It is strongly recommended that potential candidates who may be interested in applying for these positions review the “2023/2024 SJRFD Firefighter Recruitment Guide” outlining the required qualifications and the actual hiring process.
