The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in early September 2025. Applications will be accepted through the City of St. John’s Careers website. The number of Temporary Firefighters to be hired will be determined prior to the interview process. The Town of Paradise is now accepting applications for Mechanic within the Public Works Department. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Forepersons, Transportation Services, this position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Town’s fleet of heavy equipment and light duty vehicles.
