Reporting to the Manager of Development Services, this position is accountable for providing technical support relative to the development, planning and regulatory functions of the Department. The Development Technician conducts planning and regulatory studies and surveys, conducts land and building use analysis, and prepares assessment of subdivision and development applications. The Development Technician conducts inspections and investigates complaints to assure development in the Town proceeds in a manner consistent with applicable legislation. Qualifications
This is a full-time, permanent unionized position working 35 hours per week. The salary for this position is based on an annual salary of $74,287.65 as per the Collective Agreement.
