The Town of Paradise has received an application for approval to advertise the change in a housing plan at 277-295 Paradise Road. The application was previously approved for single storey development but has now proposed to develop 19 infill lot subdivision having five 3 unit Row Houses and two 2 unit semi-detached dwellings with all units being two storey. The subdivision development is in the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Use Zone, as per the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016.This Notice of Discretionary Use is advertised in accordance with Sections 3.32 and 9.4 of the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. Any person who wishes to comment on the proposed development is asked to contact the Town of Paradise in writing by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023. Town of Paradise - Development Regulations Amendment16, 2023

Take notice that the Town of Paradise Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2023, adopted on the 22nd day of February 2023, has been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs. In general terms, this amendment accommodates a mixed-use development application on a 13-hectare parcel of land located at 24-40 McNamara Drive. The proposed development includes commercial retail buildings, mixed-use commercial and residential buildings, multi-unit residential buildings, office space, and recreation and open space amenities. This amendment rezones land at 22-40 McNamara Drive from Public and Commercial Light Industrial zones to the Planned Mixed Development Commercial zone. Additionally, the proposed Paradise Mixed-Use Development Plan for 22-40 McNamara Drive is added as Appendix G to the 2016 Paradise Development Regulations. This Amendment comes into effect on the day this notice is published in the Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
