The Town of Paradise has received an application for approval to operate a counselling and wellness centre at 1714 Topsail Road. The applicant has proposed to operate on a part-time basis with services provided primarily in the evening. The business is considered a Discretionary Use of the Residential Mixed Use Zone, as per the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. No on-street parking will be permitted. Notice of Discretionary Use Application: Accessory Building - 69 Dawe's Road |
The Town of Paradise has received an application to construct an accessory building with a floor area of 147 m2 and a height of 5.2 meters. The maximum floor area permitted in the Rural Residential use zone for properties with a lot area greater than 4050 m2 is 90 m2. The maximum height of an accessory building is 4.5 meters. In accordance with Section 4.2.2(g), the total floor areas that are greater than 90 m2 and heights greater than 4.5 meters may be permitted subject to public notice and Council approval.
