The Town of Paradise regularly issues a variety of Planning Notices (Variance Use Applications, Discretionary Use Notices, and others).

The Town Discretionary Use Policy and Accessory Building Permit Policy outline applicable guidelines, requirements and procedures.

The Town of Paradise has received an application for a reduced rear yard of 8.15 meters on 100 SGT. Donald Lucas Drive. The subject property is located within the Residential Low Density (RLD) Use zone in which the minimum rear yard is 9 metres. In order to permit the reduced rear yard, an approval of a 9.5% variance is required. The Urban and Rural Planning Act permits Council to consider a variance to the Regulations up to a maximum of 10%.

This Notice is advertised in accordance with Section 3.8 of the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. Any person who wishes to comment on the proposed development is asked to contact the Town of Paradise in writing by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2026. Please submit all correspondence to:
