Notice of Discretionary Use Application - Health and Fitness Facility - 1297(B) Topsail Road

The Town of Paradise has received an application for approval to convert an existing warehouse to a
health and fitness facility at the above noted property. The subject property is located in the
Commercial/Light Industrial (C/LI) Use Zone in which a health and fitness facility is considered a
Discretionary Use, as per the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016.

This Notice of Discretionary Use is advertised in accordance with Sections 3.6 and 9.5 of the Town
of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. Any person who wishes to comment on the proposed
development is asked to contact the Town of Paradise in writing by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September
24, 2026.

Notice of Variance Application- Reduce Yard- 8 Colorado Street

The Town of Paradise has received an application for a reduced rear yard of 8.13 meters on the
above noted property. The subject property is located within the Residential Low Density (RLD) Use
zone in which the minimum rear yard is 9 metres. In order to permit the reduced rear yard, an
approval of a 10% variance is required. The Urban and Rural Planning Act permits Council to
consider a variance to the Regulations up to a maximum of 10 %.

This Notice is advertised in accordance with Section 3.8 of the Town of Paradise Development
Regulations, 2016. Any person who wishes to comment on the proposed development is asked to
contact the Town of Paradise in writing by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Notice of Discretionary Use Application - Home Based Business - Brodi Schmidt - 79 Rembrandt Boulevard

The Town of Paradise has received an application for approval to operate a home-based Policy Analysis & Advisory Services business at 79 Rembrandt Boulevard. The applicant has advised that there will be no onsite visits. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The business is considered a Discretionary Use of the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Use Zone, as per the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016.

A Notice of Discretionary Use is advertised in accordance with Sections 3.6, 3.32 and 9.5 of the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. Any person who wishes to comment on the
proposed development is asked to contact the Town of Paradise in writing by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2026.

The business operates online only, with no set hours of operation. The business is considered a Discretionary Use of the Residential Low Density (RLD) Use Zone, as per the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016.
