The Town of Paradise advises that due to utility work at the Lift Station 10 project, traffic interruptions are expected throughout the day on Wednesday, June 12 on St. Thomas Line and at the intersection of St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road. The Town of Paradise advises the public starting Monday, June 10 scheduled flushing of dead-end hydrants will occur throughout Town, in accordance with the Town’s water system and fire flow protection maintenance programs. Hydrant flushing will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and will run for approximately four weeks.

Lisa Niblock, Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Paradise, NL has officially joined the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA). She was acclaimed as the CAMA representative-elect for Newfoundland and Labrador in April of this year and took her seat at the board table during the association’s annual general meeting held on June 4, 2024. The Town of Paradise advises that road work for a section Three Island Pond Road is to begin on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The work is in the vicinity of Civic #140 Three Island Pond Road and is expected to take two days to complete. Due to the nature of the work, a section of the road will be closed, except for local traffic and all other traffic will be detoured through Topsail Pond Road and Buckingham Drive. The detour will be in place daily at 9 a.m. and re-open at approximately 4 p.m....

The Town of Paradise advises that the east entrance of Twin Brooks Drive off Topsail Road (near Lift Station 10) is scheduled to be closed on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6. The closure is needed due to work on the Lift Station 10 project. Residents can access Twin Brooks Drive via the west entrance off Topsail Road. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
