August 12, 2025 12:45 p.m. Update- The fire remains out of control. The area of Town on the south side of Topsail Road from the Outer Ring Road exit to CBS boundary remains under an Evacuation Preparedness Alert. The Town is continually monitoring the situation. Residents are advised that should an evacuation order be issued, residents will not be able to return to their homes and should plan accordingly. We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.

An immediate evacuation preparedness alert has been issued by the Town of Paradise and the Town of Conception Bay South

The area is east of Manuels River.

Repairs to the force main were successfully completed overnight.
