UPDATE: The planned power outage for civic addresses between 8-26 (only even numbers) Ashgrove Drive is now scheduled for Tuesday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 23. The power outage will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and the power will be restored by 3 p.m. each day.
UPDATE: Due to the forecast for Monday, November 21, the planned power outage will not go ahead. An update will be provided on Monday

The Town of Paradise advises that a new pedestrian trail is being constructed at Top Pond in Elizabeth Park. The work involves constructing 300 metres of new granular trail along the south edge of the pond. The project is expected to start Monday, November 14, and take approximately four weeks to complete. The Town reminds all residents that municipal confined spaces, such as storm drain catch basins, are not for public access nor are they safe to occupy. Any time a resident notices any unusual activity in Town infrastructure, please contact the Town immediately at 782-1400 and staff will respond accordingly. The Town of Paradise advises that on-site work at Woodstock Gardens Playground is scheduled to start Saturday, October 29, 2022, and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, November 2, 2022, weather-permitting. The Town of Paradise advises of a planned, temporary water shut-off for Ashgrove Drive, which may impact other streets in Evergreen Village, scheduled for Tuesday, October 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is required as part of the water and sewer upgrades on-going in the area. When water is restored, residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes in the event of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
