PSA: Lanark Drive Basketball Court Installation - October 15, 2024

The Town of Paradise advises that construction of the new basketball court will begin on Lanark Drive Park effective October 16, 2024. As part of the work the swings will be temporarily removed and replaced. All amenities such as the playground and community garden will remain closed for approximately five weeks to complete the project.

Residents are advised not to park in front of the park and to exercise caution when near the construction site. Please ensure children are not left unsupervised...

PSA: Partial Lane Closure on St. Thomas Line (October 14, 2024)

**Update** This evening October 18 through to October 20, St. Thomas Line near Lift Station 10 will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction due to ongoing work. Expect traffic slowdowns, and please use caution and follow signage. Thank you for your understanding!

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday October 14, 2024 The Town Facilities, Town Hall, and the Paradise Double Ice Complex will be closed.

PSA: Paving Operations on Sections of St. Thomas Line - October 8, 2024

The Town of Paradise advises that paving operations are scheduled for various sections of St. Thomas Line, between Lift Station 10 work site to civic #150. The work will be completed October 8 to 11. Crews will work to minimize traffic impacts, however, given the nature of the work, there may be periodic traffic slowdowns. Traffic Control will give priority to school buses travelling in the area. PSA: Sidewalk Installation on Topsail Road - October 1, 2024

The Town of Paradise advises that sidewalk installation for the north side of Topsail Road, from civic 1278 (McDonald’s Restaurant) to the boundary with Mount Pearl, is scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 2, 2024. The work is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete. Access to all businesses in the area will be maintained during the project.
