PSA: Potential Water Shut-off for Evergreen Village (December 14, 2023)

The Town of Paradise advises that on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m. until further notice, emergency repairs in Evergreen Village will begin. Due to the nature of the work, a temporary water shut-off may occur in the area. Residents will be provided with an update tomorrow afternoon should a complete water shut-off take place.

PSA: Section of St. Thomas Line Closed (November 29, 2023)

The Town of Paradise advises that effective immediately, 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, a section of St. Thomas Line, between Topsail Road and Carlingford Street, is closed and all traffic is diverted through Carlingford St. The road closure is needed due to a force main break in the area. Crews are on site and there is no direct impact to homes in the area. Emergency repairs will begin in the morning, and the detour will be in place for the morning commute. Road Closures for the Annual Town of Paradise Christmas Parade

As part of the parade, there will be road closures and delays on Topsail Road, Karwood Drive, and McNamara Drive from 12:55 to 3:00 p.m.

• Karwood Drive & Topsail Road will close to traffic at 12:55 p.m.

• McNamara Drive & the Round-a-bout will close to traffic at 1:15 p.m.

Roads to get in and out of Paradise:

• Trails End Drive (detour around Milton Road & Paradise Road)

• Buckingham Drive (going into Conception Bay South)

PSA: Traffic Interruptions and Delays for Section of Kenmount Road Extension (November 23, 2023)

The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions for a section of Kenmount Road Extension, in the vicinity of civic 1237, on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. Due to road work in the area, the eastbound lane will be closed, and traffic delays are expected. The work will be ongoing daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
