The Town of Paradise advises that at approximately 4:20 p.m. today, Sunday, February 9, there was a fire in the depot area of the Paradise Town Hall. First Responders are on site and the fire is under control. There was no one in the Town Hall or depot at the time of the fire, and there are no reports of any injuries from the incident. Residents are asked to avoid the area at this time.

February 3, 2025 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions for a section of Kenmount Road beginning on Tuesday, February 4. The Town advises residents that we have been notified that air has entered the water system in Bay Bulls Big Pond, resulting in cloudy water. The water is safe to use including for drinking, there are no health or safety concerns. The air is expected to dissipate over the coming days.

The Town of Paradise advises of a temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village on Thursday, January 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This water shut-off is required to complete repairs to the main water line in the area. Once water service is restored, residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes to clear any potential discoloration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
