The Town of Paradise advises that work is continuing through the night to address the disruption at Lift Station 10. Pumper trucks will remain on-site. Traffic delays and detours are still in place around St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow all traffic control measures. Please continue to be mindful of water usage to help reduce strain on the system. Further updates will be provided tomorrow morning.

The Town of Paradise advises that traffic interruptions and delays are expected on Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line, near Lift Station 10. Crews are on site and pumper trucks are in the area. Crews will work to maintain traffic flow, however, at times traffic slow downs are expected. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and follow all traffic control.

The Town of Paradise advises that deficiency repairs to the raised crosswalk on Karwood Drive are scheduled for Friday, November 1 to Monday, November 4. Due to the nature of the work, there will be a lane closure for a section of Karwood Drive in the southbound lane near Paradise Elementary School. The Town of Paradise advises that construction will begin on the new accessible trail on Trenton Drive which will connect to Octagon Pond Elementary. Construction is scheduled to take place over the next four to five weeks, with work occurring daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are advised to exercise caution when near the construction site, to follow all posted signage and to please ensure children are not left unsupervised in the area.
