PSA: Traffic Interruptions and Delays for Section of Topsail Road (November 8, 2023)

The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions for a section of Topsail Road, near the intersection of Christopher Street, due to water and sewer work in the area. The westbound lanes and sidewalk of Topsail Road, near the intersection of Christopher Street, will be impacted for three days starting Wednesday, November 8 and traffic delays are expected, particularly during the evening commute Wednesday.

While crews will work to minimize traffic impacts as much as possible, especially during the peak morning and evening traffic times, interruptions and delays will occur as the nature of this work makes it impossible to maintain two lanes of traffic in each direction at all times. Due to the nature of the project, crews may be working into the evenings to complete the installation as quickly as possible.

All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
