David Carver Music announced today an exclusive entertainment agreement with the Town of Paradise for summer 2016. The agreement extends David Caver Music the rights to promote the recently announced community amenities at Paradise Park, to the entertainment industry and secure a major marquee concert for summer 2016.
“Logistically and dramatically, Paradise Park is the most dynamic outdoor amphitheatre concert setting in Atlantic Canada. In addition to the nearby infrastructure, including the new double ice complex, the field itself provides a level area for a stage build and an audience viewing area for concert fans who enjoy the experience of being upfront and in the fray with other music fans. Additionally, the perfectly sloped grass hill provides incredible viewing of both the stage and the scenic background of the Town,” said David Carver, Producer.
Paradise Park is located at Sarah Davis Way in Paradise, NL and along with numerous access and egress points to major highways, the area also boasts numerous parking locations within a short walk of the gates. In addition to the central prime location of the park, a major concert event can generate significant economic impact for local businesses and the local labor force. Equally beneficial is the significant world-wide marketing impact a host city, town or community receives as a result of hosting an event in the outdoor festival/concert format.
“We are very excited to have entered into a rental agreement with David Carver Music and we are looking forward to seeing what David Carver Music has planned for Paradise Park this summer,” said Dan Bobbett, Mayor. “In addition to having produced many memorable shows in Atlantic Canada, including Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow and many more, Mr. Carver is fully focused on the benefit to local businesses and residents, which is perfectly aligned with the Town’s community and economic priorities.”
With the rental agreement newly signed, David Carver Music has already piqued the interest of the entertainment industry saying a major marquee event is in the works that will focus on a new festival format for Newfoundland music fans including mainstream Top 40, Hot AC and AC artists. “The region is well represented in country and classic rock music concerts. Our goal is develop a new brand of festival and a new experience for music fans while making every effort to respect other events, especially those of our friends in Central Newfoundland and the July date for their yearly event,” said David Carver.
David Carver Music also indicated they are considering other outdoor venues in Maritime Canada for a similar event this summer.
