Evacuation Order is Lifted for Three Island Pond Area — August 15, 2025 (12:30 P.M.)

The Town of Paradise advises that the Evacuation Order for the Three Island Pond Area is lifted effective immediately on Friday, August 15, 2025. Residents who were evacuated from the following streets can return to their homes: Three Island Pond Road to the intersection of Buckingham Drive, Ellington Close, Angels Road, Hansen Place, Vanellen Place, Dawes Road, Balsamwood Road, Stokes Road and Shalloway Place.

Residents are advised that the Paddy’s Pond Fire is still considered an Active Fire and fire crews continue to work at the scene.

Evacuation Preparedness Alert remains in place for a portion of Paradise, on the south side of Topsail Road from the Outer Ring Road exit to CBS boundary, including the Three Island Pond area. As the Paddy’s Pond Fire is still considered an active fire, residents are reminded to continue to be prepared to leave the homes on short notice.

The regional State of Emergency is still in place, and it enables the province to coordinate provincial and municipal services and access resources in the area to support the wildfires. This DOES NOT change the area for the Evacuation Preparedness Alert.
