Repairs to the force main were successfully completed overnight.
St. Thomas Line is now open and accessible to vehicles. The Town appreciate everyone’s continued patience and understanding.

Repairs to the force main were successfully completed overnight.

St. Thomas Line remains closed this morning as crews work to remove the equipment and ensure the road is accessible to vehicles.

**Update: 9:15 p.m. August 4, 2025

The Town of Paradise appreciates your patience. Crews remain on-site and are actively working to repair the force main. With work continuing until the issue is resolved. The road closure on St. Thomas Line is still in place. A further update will be provided tomorrow morning.

The Town of Paradise advises that crews are currently on-site responding to a force main break on St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road.

St. Thomas Line is closed to through traffic at the intersection of Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line, with access limited to local traffic only. Traffic control will be on site; drivers are advised to use alternate routes and follow all posted signage and traffic control measures. Pumper trucks will be on-site to support the response efforts.
