PSA: St. Thomas Line closed between Topsail Rd and Carlingford Str; Detour in place - July 30, 2024

The Town of Paradise advises that effective Tuesday, July 30, a section of St. Thomas Line, from Topsail Road to Carlingford Street, will be closed to all traffic. The closure is required to install underground infrastructure as part of the Lift Station 10 project. 

Due to the road closure, all traffic will be diverted through Carlingford Street. Traffic calming measures will be in place on that road and there will be traffic control at the intersection of Carlingford Street and Topsail Road. As part of the traffic control, lane reductions will be in effect for Topsail Road. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow all posted signage and traffic control. 

For this portion of work on the Lift Station 10 project, the playground in the vicinity of the Carlingford Street – St. Thomas Line intersection will be closed.

The detour is expected to be in place for approximately one week and the Town will provide an update when the section of St. Thomas Line will re-open. The Town apologizes for the inconvenience.
