Update 8:00 p.m. – September 12, 2025: Water Main Break on Topsail Road Near Scotia Bank

The Town of Paradise advises that crews will continue working through the evening on the water main break near Scotia Bank. Lane closures remain in place from 1324 Topsail Road (Scotia Bank) to 1366 Topsail Road (Irving) while repairs progress.

Crews are aiming to have the road repaired before early morning. The Town will continue to monitor the situation closely over the weekend and provide further updates as required.

The Town of Paradise advises that crews are working diligently to repair the water main break near Scotia Bank. Lane closures remain in place from 1324 Topsail Road (Scotia Bank) to 1366 Topsail Road (Irving) while work continues.

The Town will provide an additional update at 8:00 p.m. We thank residents and drivers for their patience and cooperation as crews complete this urgent repair.

The Town of Paradise advises of lane closures on Topsail Road from 1324 Topsail Road (Scotia Bank) to 1366 Topsail Road (Irving) on September 12, 2025 due to an unexpected water main break in the area. Traffic will be reduced to one eastbound and one westbound lane throughout the day. Although the Town will work to keep at least one lane open in each direction delays are expected. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible. Please follow all posted signage and traffic control measures.

No water service interruptions are anticipated; however, residents in the area may notice lower-than-normal water pressure while repairs are underway.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience and will provide further updates this evening or as more information becomes available.
