Safety Reminder: Municipal Confined Spaces

The Town reminds all residents that municipal confined spaces, such as storm drain catch basins, are not for public access nor are they safe to occupy. Any time a resident notices any unusual activity in Town infrastructure, please contact the Town immediately at 782-1400 and staff will respond accordingly. At no time should a resident access a municipal confined space. Staff who are required to work in these areas are trained so that they may access and work in them safely, including wearing all required PPE (personal protective equipment).
