Topsail Road Phase IV Work Nearing Completion

The Town of Paradise advises residents that construction work for the Topsail Road Phase IV project is nearing completion and the detour is no longer required. Effective today, August 25, 2017, traffic will flow through Topsail Road and the detour route will no longer be in place. All traffic calming measures in place on the detour route will be removed in the next several days.

 

As part of the Topsail Road Phase IV project, crosswalks will be in place prior to the start of the school year. The utility poles will also be moved within the coming weeks. This work will be done with minimal disruption to traffic. At this time, the first base layer of asphalt is in place and the poles are removed in such a manner as to not impact that layer. The final surface layer of asphalt will be placed as per the project plan.
