Water Conservation Notice July 25, 2024

With this summer’s warm and dry weather, residents are reminded to limit their use of water outdoors to protect the water supply. The regional water supply, which services the Town of Paradise, is experiencing a higher than usual demand. Everyone is asked to work together as a community and region to conserve water.

Residents are reminded of the Water Conservation Order and are asked to follow the order so water demand can be addressed before it reaches a critical point, and further actions are needed.

Under the order, lawn watering is only permitted at the following times:

1. EVEN street numbers, between 6 and 8 a.m., and 8 and 10 p.m., Tuesdays and Saturdays
2. ODD street numbers, between 6 and 8 a.m., and 8 and 10 p.m., Thursdays and Sundays
3. Hand watering of lawns and gardens is permitted at any time
4. Residents with a new lawn may water it between 6 and 8 a.m., and 8 and 10 p.m. every day for a period of 60 days following installation
5. Residents can wash cars or house windows provided it is done with a hose with a shut-off nozzle.

The Town will be actively enforcing the Water Conservation Order and we thank all residents for their cooperation.
