PSA: Pedestrian Traffic Beacon Installation – July 24, 2025

July 23, 2025 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises that installation of a new pedestrian traffic beacon system will begin on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the roundabout on Topsail Road and McNamara Drive.

Work will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on July 24, 28, and 29, 2025. There will be no construction on July 25, 2025, to ensure the Canada Games Torch Run events at Paradise Park are not affected. During construction, single-lane and temporary sidewalk closures will be in place around the roundabout, with flag persons on site to assist with traffic flow.

All drivers are reminded to proceed with caution, follow posted signage, and comply with traffic control measures. The Town of Paradise apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the public for their patience during this work.
