Update 3:00 p.m:  The Town of Paradise advises that the Paradise Double Ice Complex and Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre will open for regular programming effective 4:00 p.

Let’s tap into water conservation! 

For the current Municipal Election, the Town of Paradise offered mail-in voting.  Residents had to register to receive a mail-in voting kit, and all kits were issued prior to the Canada Post labour disruption.

The Town of Paradise advises that the provincial government has lifted the Regional State of Emergency and as a result the Evacuation Preparedness Alert for the section of Paradise (the south side of Topsail Road from the Outer Ring Road exit to CBS boundary) has ended effective immediately, today, Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Residents should continue to monitor the Government of NL and the Town of Paradise websites for updates.

The following will be the Town’s only update on its fire response for Saturday, August 16, unless there is a significant change in the status of the Paddy’s Pond Fire. The Town’s next update will be issued by 12 noon on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
