PSA: 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Program Starts
The Town of Paradise advises that the 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Program is scheduled to begin on the week of August 4, 2026. Over the next several weeks, asphalt repairs and grind and patch work will be completed throughout Town. The full list of streets is below. The work will be completed intermittently throughout the coming weeks, with crews on designated sites Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; some weekend work may also occur on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For 2026, work will be completed on the following streets:
Brougham Drive (Kenmount Road to Canterbury Drive)
- Kenmount Road (Karwood Roundabout to Civic #1222)
- Maverick Place
- Topsail Road (Civic #1316 to Topsail Pond Road)
- Deborah Lynn Heights (Civic #25)
- Fairlane Street (Civic #2)
- St. Thomas Line (Picco Drive to Hickeys Road)
- Three Island Pond Road (Civic #17 - #55)
- Burnaby Street (Civic #22-#31)
- Tiverton Street (Civic #2 – Tipperary Street)
- McNamara Drive (Kenmount Road to Civic #117)
Minimal traffic disruptions are anticipated for the work on local roads. Additional notice will be issued before work begins on Topsail Road. All drivers are asked to use caution in the work areas and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
The Town continues to assess asphalt conditions throughout Paradise as part of its ongoing infrastructure planning. While the 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Program has already been finalized, residents can report areas of concern by emailing engineering@paradise.ca. Requests will be reviewed and considered for future annual maintenance programs.
