PSA: Blasting Operations for Picco Ridge Phase 3 Development - May 26, 2026

May 26, 2026 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises that blasting operations related to the Picco Ridge Phase 3 Development will begin May 26, 2026. This work is part of the continuation of the development of Phoenix Drive and Kemble Avenue. Blasting will occur intermittently over the next three weeks between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The contractor has completed all required pre-blast surveys and residents within a 250-metre radius of the blast zone have been notified directly by the Developer.

Residents in the area can expect increased noise levels during blasting activities. A series of horn signals will sound before and after each blast in accordance with standard safety protocols.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and cooperation.
