Work to Resume on Kenmount Road Rehabilitation Project Phase I - July 6, 2026

July 6, 2026 – Paradise, NL: The Town of Paradise advises that work on Kenmount Road Rehabilitation Project Phase I is scheduled to resume the week of July 6 and continue until October 2026. Work will take place daily from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The project involves upgrades to an additional 143 metres, from approximately civic 1250 to civic 1237 Kenmount Road. The upgrades include a dedicated median turning lane, installation of storm sewer infrastructure, curb and gutter construction, sidewalk improvements, and an extension of the active transportation trail. As part of this work, the surface course of asphalt and line painting will be completed for the 550 metres upgraded in 2025 for the Kenmount Road Rehabilitation Phase I project.   

Businesses remain open and accessible during construction. Crews will work to maintain traffic flow, especially during the morning and evening commute times, however, at times, due to the nature of the work, there will be traffic slowdowns and interruptions. 

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and follow all posted traffic controls. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
