Town Facilities Closed for the Day

Town Facilities (Town Hall, Paradise Double Ice Complex and Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre) will be closed for the remainder of the day, Tuesday, February 14.
The Snow and Ice in Paradise Shuffleboard Tournament is cancelled for Tuesday, February 14 and will now take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
The Snow and Ice in Paradise Bingo is cancelled for tonight, Tuesday, February 14 and will now take place on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Delayed Opening for Recreational Facilities for Tuesday, February 14, 2017

Recreational Facilities (Paradise Double Ice Complex and Rotary Paradise Youth & Community Centre) will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 due to the forecast weather; an update will be provided by 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Town of Paradise is continuing with a strong growth trend, provincially and nationally, according to the 2016 census data released February 8, 2017. The Town has selected Levi Moulton and Todd Ralphto represent Paradise as Canada 150 Community Leaders. Levi and Todd were recognized for their volunteer work in the community in 2016, each receiving a Town of Paradise Municipal Award for their continuous involvement and active participation in community building activities. Mayor Dan Bobbett will also represent the Town as a Canada 150 Community Leader and be actively involved in the celebrations.

Temporary Water Shut-off for Evergreen Village for February 8

The Town of Paradise advises residents of Evergreen Village of a planned, temporary water shut-off for Wednesday, February 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to complete repairs to the water main system.
The Town appreciates residents’ patience while work is being completed in the area. Residents are asked to run their water for a few minutes after the connection is restored in the event of discoloured water.
