Did you know approximately 41% of food waste comes from the home?
To help reduce waste and keep organics out of landfills, the Town of Paradise is offering compost bins for $45. Pick up yours at the Town Hall during regular hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) or call 709-782-3577 if you have any questions.

Garbage collection for Area 3 A&B is ongoing this evening (Thursday, April 29) and is expected to be finished by 6:00 p.m. Recycling has been collected for the area. The Town apologizes for the inconvenience.

With spring here and the snow gone, we need your help to get Paradise in tip-top shape! Residents, businesses, and groups are invited to join in and lend a hand from May 1 - 31 during Community Clean-up Month. Get outside and help the environment while cleaning up neighborhoods, school areas, open spaces, trails, and business locations. Work resumes on the T’Railway upgrade project on Tuesday, April 27. The project involves the section of trail from McNamara Drive to the CBS boundary, and is expected to be completed by end of July. The work includes widening and resurfacing the section of trail, installing a granular surface, and completing appropriate edging and drainage.
The section of T’Railway will be closed during the work and barricades will be in place. Residents are asked to follow all signage in the area and please avoid...
