Garbage and Recycling

| Print This Page |

Our new four-day garbage and recycling collection schedule begins September 3.

We're changing the garbage and recylcing collection schedule to make it better for our residents. Starting Septemeber 3, collection will now take place from Tuesday to Friday each week, meaning some areas will have a new collection day. Switching to a four-day schedule also means there will be fewer disruptions due to holidays, making things easier for you!

Check your mailbox for the new collection guide or click the image below for the new collection areas.

Notices:

  • Compost Bins: With approximately 30% of household waste being organic, composting helps to significantly reduce waste going to landfills. You can pick up your bin for $20 at the Town Hall, 28 McNamara Drive during regular work hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).

  • Garbage Box Removal Reminder: Automated Garbage Collection uses Town-supplied wheeled carts, meaning garbage boxes are no longer needed for waste collection. If you would like to dispose of your old garbage box, the Town can remove it for you. Please call our Waste Management Department at 782-3577 to schedule a pickup.
