MUN Students U-Pass Consultation Sessions

Memorial University is holding Public Consultation Sessions for a new Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass). The program will look to improve transportation for students by offering a discounted bus pass. This program will also involve expanded routes and unlimited access to these routes, helping to improve campus transportation and minimize on-campus parking challenges.

Attend any of the four Consultation Sessions in October: 

  • Tuesday, October 16, 6-7:30 p.m.: A-1043, St. John’s Campus 
  • Thursday, October 18, 12-1:30 p.m.: Hampton Hall, Marine Institute 
  • Friday, October 19, 12:30-2 p.m.: PE-2001, St. John’s Campus 
  • Monday, October 22, 6-7:30pm: B2007, Signal Hill Campus

Service Informaiton

The Town of Paradise partners with Metrobus to offer public transit to the Town of Paradise. Route 30 operates weekdays during peak hours and on Saturdays between the Paradise Double Ice Complex and the Avalon Mall in St. John's. Metrobus operates with an exact cash fare policy - drivers do not carry change. Riders need the exact cash or m-Card. The m-Card is an interactive smart card used to pay transit fares when riding with Metrobus. It can be purchased at the Paradise Double Ice Complex, on-line or at various sales outlets.  

The St. John's Transportation Commission, operating as Metrobus, has been providing public transit services in St. John's, NL, since 1958. Metrobus operates 22 fixed-transit routes and services more than three million rides annually within the St. John's region.
