The Royal Canadian Legion has outlined several ways we can honour Remembrance Day 2020, within current public health guidelines:

Pumpkin and Scarecrow Stroll November 7-8, 2020
Drop-off Pumpkins and Scarecrows between November 2-4, 2020

We’re having a Pumpkin and Scarecrow Stroll at Paradise Park and we need your help! Drop off your jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows to the Paradise Double Ice Complex by November 4 for the Pumpkin and Scarecrow Stroll!

The Pumpkin and Scarecrow Stroll is a time to say farewell to Halloween in a fun and eco-friendly way. Join us at Paradise Park on November 7 and 8 and view all the fine pumpkins and scarecrows from the residents of Paradise. There will also be tractor rides for fall fun.

The event is free (with monetary donation on site or online for Children’s Wish)

To support current public health guidelines, registration for the event is required and is available online. You can register for one-hour time slots, and groups of up to 6 people are permitted to register for the same time. Face masks are required to be worn on the tractor rides.

Print a copy of the receipt and bring it with you. Staff will ask to see the receipt to verify ticket purchase for the event.

Date: November 7 and 8

Time: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Paradise Park

Admission: Free, with a monetary donation on site or online for Children’s Wish

Community groups or event organizers can also submit events to appear in our Community Calendar.
