Recreation Master Plan

| Print This Page |

The Town of Paradise is working with UPLAND Planning and Design Studio to develop a new Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. To the Town recreation includes participation in physical, social or creative pursuits that enhance personal and community well-being.

Open spaces like parks and trails are a network of essential public spaces that provide a wide range of benefits. The plan is being designed to set a course of action for new or improved facilities, programs, parks, and trails, toward a long-term vision of meaningful, inclusive and accessible recreation opportunities for all citizens of Paradise. Public feedback has been key in the development process. The final 10-year Recreation and Open Space Master Plan will reflect input from community groups and the general public.

Some of the many ways residents and groups have participated in the development process so far have included an Open House, Online Survey and Community Meeting. Feedback collected from these consultations was considered in the development of the Draft Paradise Open Space and Recreation Master Plan.

At this stage of the process the Town is asking residents and community groups to submit additional feedback they may have pertaining to the Draft Paradise Open Space and Recreation Master Plan. Please email  comments to the Town of Paradise, or drop off off feedback to the Town Hall at 28 McNamera Drive.
