Walking is a great way to stay active and socialize with others! Residents can enjoy our indoor walking space free of charge from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Indoor walking shoes are required for participation; outdoor footwear must be removed before entering the gymnasium. Please note there is no programming on the following days.

π§Ά Rug Hooking Creation - NEW PROGRAM |

Though the simple process of pulling loops, Winnie Glavine from Hooked Creations NL, introduces a fun and easy way of learning the basics of rug hooking. Create your own masterpiece over the course of six weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.. Participants will learn about the history of rug hooking in this province, tools of the trade, tips on choosing colours, pulling loops, and finishing your creation! All participants will receive a starter kit including a beginner frame, hook, foundation fabric, and rug hooking materials. Registration is required and opens on Wednesday, December 17, with classes beginning on February 25. The cost to register is $150 for the full course (6 classes) Schedule:
