Wildfire Morning Update for Friday, August 15, 2025: 8:30 AM
For the Paddy’s Pond Fire, the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture advises that water bombers and a bird dog aircraft were focused on the northern edge of the fire throughout Thursday, and that construction on a fire guard is complete. Today (August 15) bucketing will continue along with other suppression work including help from the Canadian Armed Forces.

As outlined in the latest update from the provincial Department of Fisheries and Agriculture, the wildfire remains Out of Control and is estimated at 300 hectares in size.
