PSA: Repairs to Lift Station 10

The Town of Paradise advises the repairs are required to the current Lift Station 10 and are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 13. The work is expected to take approximately one week to complete. To complete the repairs, external diesel pumps are needed on site to divert the wastewater and the pumps will be running continuously for approximately one week. PSA: Repairs to Crosswalk at Topsail Road and Glendarek Drive

The Town of Paradise advises that repairs to the pedestrian activated crosswalk lights at Topsail Road and Glendarek Drive are scheduled to start Thursday, March 2 and take approximately two days to complete. Crews will work to minimize the impact on traffic; however, given the nature of this project, periodic traffic interruptions and slowdowns may occur.

PSA: Traffic Interruptions on Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line

The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions for sections of Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line on Wednesday, February 22 between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The east bound lane of Topsail Road and south bound lane of St. Thomas Line will have traffic slowdowns and interruptions due to equipment entering the Lift Station 10 construction site. The two areas are not expected to be impacted at the same time.

Town Facilities to Open at 12noon February 15

All Town facilities, including the Town Hall and Paradise Double Ice Complex will open for regular operations at 12 noon today, Wednesday, February 15.

Delayed Opening Town Facilities: February 15

Due to the weather conditions, there will be a delayed opening today, Wednesday, February 15, for all Town facilities, including the Town Hall and the Paradise Double Ice Complex. An update will be provided by 11 a.m. this morning.
