The Town of Paradise presented Budget 2022 during the regular Public Council Meeting on December 21, 2021. The $39.4 million balanced budget maintains residential and commercial mil rates and fees, and presents a plan for strategic investments that meet the needs of all residents.
“Our focus for our municipal budget centres on finding the right balance of programs and services that can be offered within our fiscal limitations, and Budget 2022 delivers on that,” said Mayor Dan Bobbett....

The Town of Paradise advises of an unplanned, temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village for Tuesday, December 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The water shut-off is required to complete repairs to the main water line in the area.
When water is restored, residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes in the event of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

We’ve checked the weather, we’ve checked it twice and it’s not going to be very nice. That means due to the forecast the 2021 Paradise Christmas Parade is not going ahead today (Sunday, December 12).
Unfortunately we do not have an alternate date available for this year for our parade. To host a successful and safe parade, Town staff need the support of a number of organizations, community groups and volunteers, and given the time of year with many other events scheduled for all involved, we are...

Due to weather conditions, all Town recreational facilities, including the Paradise Double Ice Complex, the Fitness Centre, & the Rotary Paradise Youth & Community Centre will close at 6 p.m. on December 9. Stay safe everyone!

All Town facilities, including the Town Hall and Paradise Double Ice Complex, will open for regular operations at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 9.
Garbage Collection for Area 3A&B and Recycling Collection for Area 3A are cancelled for Thursday, December 9. Garbage will be collected on Friday, December 10, along with Area 4A&B; Recycling Collection will be next week, on Thursday, December 16, along with Area 3B.
