Deputy Mayor Kimberley Street

As a lifelong resident of the Town of Paradise and your Deputy Mayor I’m deeply committed to serving and strengthening our community I proudly call home. 

Since being elected to Council in 2019,  I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of leadership roles, including Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Councillor.

Through my work on Council and participation on numerous boards and committees, I have developed a strong understanding of municipal governance, fiduciary responsibility, strategic planning and collaboration.

Currently,  council lead for Corporate Services,  Co-Chair of Northeast Avalon Joint Council and Urban Director with Municipal Assessment Agency Board. 

Previously, Council lead for Planning and Protective Services, Infrastructure and Engineering and committee member for Public Works, and Recreation and Community Services. 

I have also had the opportunity to serve on the following Boards and Committees :

• Resident Committee Member, Imagine Paradise 2016 Municipal Plan
• Committee Member, St. John’s Regional Fire Department 
• Committee Member, Universal Design Network 
• Committee Member, Transitional and Personalized Medicine Initiative 
• Board Member, Architect Licensing Board

• Board Member, Canadian Home  Builders Association 

I am committed to working collaboratively with Council and supporting responsible growth through strong governance and meaningful public engagement.
