September 11, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises of a traffic interruption for a section of Topsail Road, in the westbound lane, from the intersection of Elizabeth Drive up to the east bound highway exit. The traffic will be down to one lane for the afternoon on Thursday, September 11, as crews complete work in the area.

September 4, 2025:  The Town of Paradise advises that a section of Adams Pond Trail, between Vista Crest Gardens and Archibald Drive, will be closed for approximately two weeks starting September 8, 2025. The closure is in place to allow the developer for the Lakeside Phase 7 subdivision to complete storm drainage upgrades and a bridge installation.

🚌📚 Back to School in Paradise — 2025

The crossing guards are ready, traffic calming is in place, and increased traffic patrols are scheduled! Paradise is set for the start of the 2025–26 school year. As students and teachers head back to class, we all have a role to play in school zone safety.

August 29, 2025:  The Town of Paradise advises that culvert repair work will begin on Tuesday, September 2, in the westbound lane of Carlingford Street. The work is expected to take three to four weeks to complete and will repair the section of roadway that is currently closed due to a sinkhole.

August 26, 2025: The Town of Paradise advises that construction of a new pedestrian trail connecting Silver Birch Crescent to Paradise Elementary will begin on August 27, 2025, with completion expected in October 2025. Work will take place daily from 7:00 a.

The Town of Paradise advises that the provincial government has lifted the Regional State of Emergency and as a result the Evacuation Preparedness Alert for the section of Paradise (the south side of Topsail Road from the Outer Ring Road exit to CBS boundary) has ended effective immediately, today, Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Residents should continue to monitor the Government of NL and the Town of Paradise websites for updates.
